Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to BVHS 2024 graduates

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Blue Valley Middle School PTO Scholarship, an applicant must:

Be a 2023-24 graduating senior in good standing from Blue Valley High School;
Have attended Blue Valley Middle School;
Have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher;
Apply on-line;
Plan to enroll or already be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at any school listed in the Education Directory of Colleges and Universities or the community college of his or her choice;

Seniors, we encourage you to apply to this scholarship! We are trying to make the application process easy. The application is all online with the link below. You will need an unofficial transcript. You do NOT need a recommendation.

Complete the on-line application (which consists of):

Short Answer Question (maximum 100 words): Answer the following question…If you had the authority to change your high school in a positive way, what specific changes would you make?
List 3 words to describe your character.
In five sentences or less, write a general statement about your personal and academic strengths.
Describe your most significant role model from your years at BVMS. (This could include a faculty member, friend, volunteer, etc.) How has this role model impacted your life, and, if applicable, your college career plan?
Describe why receiving this scholarship from Blue Valley Middle School would be important to you.
Indicate your high school academic Information - Cumulative weighted GPA and Cumulative unweighted GPA.
List the school or schools you are interested in attending.
Upload your resume to the online application (no more than 1 page).
Upload a current unofficial copy of your transcript to the on-line application.
