Fundraising

The BVMS PTO wanted to thank all of our parents for supporting our children both financially and through volunteering.  Because of your efforts we were able to grant approximately $2,000 in teacher grants this year along with providing additional funding for programming for our children throughout the year!

Examples of school grants have included:  a new sound system for the Drama Department, computers, resources for Battle of the Books, new books for the library, materials for the outdoor lab, new furniture for the library, cameras for technology, leveled social studies text, band and vocal clinicians, supplementary resources for science teachers, rulers for math classes and books for ELA as well as various wishes from teachers throughout the school. 

We also host several activities including Cardinal Activity Nights (CAN), Book Fair, Career Day, AMC Movie Night, Teacher/Staff appreciation, Scholarships to past students and the 8th grade farewell celebration.  Another tradition is the BVMS 5K Rock N Run held each April.

Blue Valley Middle School (BVMS) Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) works with the school staff to organize all of the fun activities that happen at school to complement the learning that takes place every day. The PTO couldn't do what they do without the support of our amazing community!   

How it's done...

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

• Eating out on Spirit Nights (Restaurant nights)
• Buying Spirit Wear
• Donating online to Invest in BVMS
• Supporting our Spring Rock N Run
